The company has been certified by Lloyd's Register for the development and implementation of its Quality Assurance Management Systems. The ongoing implementation and renewal of these systems is achieved and ensured by the company’s effective laboratories. The Quality Assurance Management Systems that Vikos S.A has been certified for are:

 
ISO 9001/2008

ISO 9001:2015

For the design and the production of natural mineral and table water, soft drinks, pet preforms and plastic closures. The first certification was acquired in accordance with the standard ISO 9001/94 in February 2000 – Transition to the new standard ISO 9001:2015 was made in May 2018.

 
HACCP

ISO 22000:2018

For the Food Safety Management. The first certification was acquired in Martch 2023 in accordance with the standard ISO 22000:2018.

 
ISO 14001/2004

ISO 14001:2015

To effectively manage and protect the environment. The first certification, the standard ISO 14001/96, was acquired in March 2003 – Transition to the new standard ISO 14001:2015 was made in May 2018. Additionally certified for the production of r-PET preforms and the bottling of water and soft drinks in r-PET bottles (recycled PET) in December 2021.

Since March 2009 for the manufacturing of natural mineral water, table water and soft drinks. The first certification was acquired in March 2009.

ISO 45001:2018

For the application of the occupational health and safety management system. The first certification was acquired in accordance with the standard OHSAS 18001:2007 in December 2016 – Transition to the new standard ISO 45001:2018 was made in March 2021.

 
HACCP

HACCP

According to the standard Codex Alimentarious 2009 Vikos S.A., was the first company in the food industry to acquire a HACCP certificate (February 2000) for the control and quality assurance of its products at all critical control points of the manufacturing process. From source, through manufacturing of bottles to final packaging of water. Transition to the new standard Codex Alimentarious 2009 was made in April 2012. The HACCP certificate has been replaced by the standard ISO 22000:2018

 

Premium product quality at source combined with strictly controlled bottling conditions and continuous product inspections at all stages of the manufacturing process ensures the distribution of bottled water suitable for a healthy and balanced diet.
